Tenuta Sospesa is a traditional stone-built country house, dating back to the Eighteenth Century, that has been attractively restored from 2020 to 2023. The beautiful architecture of the main house is adorned with a turret and external staircase, typical of the region. Upstairs are the original terracotta floor tiles, wood-beamed ceilings and walls stripped back to reveal the original stone.
Tenuta Sospesa can accommodate more than 20 guests. Its spacious bedrooms can be used as doubles, triples or quadruples in order to host larger groups. Space does not lack and numerous accommodation solutions can be proposed.
The villa can be rented entirely and exclusively for a large group, but it can also be divided into 2 apartments to accommodate 2 smaller groups. Both apartments are totally independent and self- contained. They all enjoy complete privacy with their private garden and dining area.
Tenuta Sospesa is located in the gentle Umbrian hills of central Italy, overlooking the beautiful historic village of Montepetriolo. It is surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, fields of sunflowers and red poppies. It is situated at a stone's throw from Lake Trasimeno, is only 15 minutes from Perugia (with its small but international airport) and only 30 minutes drive from Tuscany. Its fantastic location makes it the perfect starting point for visiting the whole of central Italy.
